Role: Prototype / Coding

In collaboration with therapists at our clinic, we have designed a platform to facilitate the integration and swift querying of data by both physical and sports therapists. This innovative solution optimizes the workflow, making the process of prescribing and signing off on treatments significantly more efficient for patients. By harnessing the capabilities of our app currently in development, we've created a seamless interface that enhances therapist-patient interactions and streamlines the therapeutic journey.

Problem Solving

During the preliminary stages of our backend architecture, we initiated strategic discussions across various departments, aiming to address more than just the visual aspects of the platform. A significant challenge was bridging the gap between physical therapists and sports managers, which we tackled through conducting in-depth interviews. This approach allowed us to identify and solve key issues collaboratively.

The development process was carefully crafted around the needs identified by physical therapists. Starting with detailed designs in AdobeXd, we proceeded to develop prototypes of the static pages. This step was critical for testing and refining the platform, as it provided early-stage user feedback, enabling us to make necessary adjustments. The iterative design and feedback process ensured that we were not just creating a tool, but solving real-world problems for professionals in the field.

Design

In my design, I strategically chose a palette of gray, white, and deep blue to achieve a balance between reducing saturation and preserving texture, particularly important in areas dense with complex information. This choice ensures that the design remains visually comfortable and information is easily digestible for users navigating intricate backgrounds.
Given the frequent need for therapists and administrators to adjust patient prescriptions and manage member profiles, which involves regular object selection and drag-and-drop actions, I opted for a grid-based layout. This layout facilitates quick and precise user actions, streamlining the process of managing detailed tasks within the backend. It's a design decision that not only enhances the usability of the platform but also significantly improves the efficiency of daily operations for professionals.
